White Turmeric

More mild and less bitter than Curcuma longa. Can be grated and added fresh to salads or dried and used to flavor curries, marinades, soups, and more. Grow plants in 14 to 18 inch containers outdoors in filtered sunlight and move indoors before a hard frost. Grows up to 4 feet tall. Harvest by reaching into the soil and breaking off just what you need or store roots in a cool, dark place in air-tight containers for up to 6 months.
